Pilates at the Y ok

I did make it to my first Pilates lesson in Houston. Needing to get my own body working again after a ten month break. Gosh I certainly could see where I need to place my focus! It is hard to adapt to a different style but it was good. Lesson had a flow. Perhaps not as much technical explanation as I have had in the past but certainly the teacher did correct a few people which in past lessons elsewhere has not been done at all! I have been to lessons where I have been told “oh we don’t worry about form here” I nearly died when I heard this but I decided to soldier on. I wanted so badly to jump up and shout “no don’t do it like that” or help the guy next to me who just could not stay balanced on his ball!
The two days prior to my recent class I hit my Yogaball AND my reformer then attended the mat class. Ok so that was a bit stupid as Saturday I kind of ached. The other thing that I noticed was that my muscles were cramping again down the outside of my legs. They used to do this in the good old days! So I am hoping that with regular practice will go away again.
